Eating 50-100 gm papaya daily can boost your immune system and it protect your body from a various types of known illnesses and infections. Additionally, green tea also contains the antioxidant name called as quercetin, and this compound has been found to effectively fight the viruses that cause the common cold and makes your body immune system strong.

6. Tomatoes

Rich in vitamin C, tomatoes can boost your immune system, giving your body extra protection against colds and other viruses. Tomatoes are good for your eye health. Tomatoes are rich in vitamin A, which protect the cornea an retina.

7. Spinach

Spinach is loaded with good amount of Vitamin C but also because it contains lots of high level of antioxidants and beta carotene. Eating spinach in a lunch and dinner helps immune system to fight infections. However, spinach retains its nutrients when cooked as little as possible. Cooking it a little improves the absorption of Vitamins A and releases other nutrients like oxalic acid.

Other than Vitamins A and C, spinach is rich in iron, magnesium, and fiber that not only boost the immune system but facilitate cell division and DNA repair as well. Spinach salad is a good idea but you should try other dishes as well like creamed spinach, spinach dip, spinach lasagna/pasta, garlic
sautéed spinach, etc.

8. Egg

Eggs has a very good amount of protein, antioxidants and amino acids, which can improve your body health and retains working of your immune system at the peak level. Eggs are also known for fighting a flue infections and common cold. Eating two or three eggs a day especially boiled eggs can significantly help your body to fight many known infections and keep the body healthy.
